Rosie claims to have been with Mahlander’s “since Shep was a pup.” We are not sure about Shep’s age, but Rosie’s been here since 1990. Rosie takes care of a multitude of tasks, including (but definitely not limited to!) sales, marketing, purchasing, ordering, organizing, mentoring and keeping the sales team up-to-date on the latest-and-greatest offerings from our lighting & décor vendors.

Rosie’s favorite part of the job is the customers: “I like all the nice people we meet.” She also enjoys the new opportunities each day brings: “There’s such a variety – with the people and the work. We never do the same thing two days in a row!” That keeps the ever-smiling Rosie on her toes.

In her free time, Rosie’s favorite thing is to spend time with her granddaughters! She stays active while enjoying many pastimes: singing in the choir, fishing, swimming, watersports (boating is top of the list) and traveling with her husband, Denny. She also counts great food and gardening among her favorite things.
